The main advantage of Radomsko is location on important routes and its constantly developing technical infrastructure. Radomsko has well developed Medium and Small Enterprises (SME’s) sector which is now one of the most valuable fundaments of economy in the town. FAMEG Sp. z o. o. based in Radomsko, Poland is a company with over 125 years tradition in manufacturing high quality bentwood furniture, with a worldwide reputation. The roots of the company are associated with Michael Thonet, a brilliant Viennese furniture manufacturer, who invented a unique wood bending process, which was named after him. The furniture designed by FAMEG is made of noble beechwood, which most faithfully preserves the refined shape given to it. FAMEG not only follows tradition, but also takes advantage of modern fashion and design, which creates a new image for the company and ensures that it follows the latest market trends.
Another well developed branch is building industry. There are about 300 companies of this sector in the local market. Also the metal industry is still developing concurrently one hundred SMEs at this sector there is Metalurgia Company which operates in the city is one of the biggest wire and wire products manufacturers in Europe. Radomsko Municipality is the proprietor of the plot of total area - 130 hectares, situated in the vicinity of National Road Nr 1 connecting Warszawa and Katowice.
The plot has access to the local roads and to the Motorway A1 entrance/exit. The offered area is not built-up, ecologically clean and has a very good transport accessibility.
The purpose and plot shape depend on the preferences of the investors. Currently, offered plots have access to the roads, power system node, water system, sanitary sewage system, rain water system, gas mains and telecommunication network.
The railway siding is expecting built in 2-3 years but intermodal terminal is considered too. Within the borders of the plot a sub-area (100 hectares) managed by Lodz Economic Special Zone is located. Central, strategic location of Radomsko City within national and closeness of the European borders makes the plot very attractive for a wide range of businesses. Radomsko authorities are constantly improving the qualities of the investment ground, e.g. by making up the detailed technical documentation and upgrading technical and transport infrastructure.

Economy
Investors who carry out their activities within the area of the Lodz Special Economic Zone in Radomsko may enjoy the right to public aid. The public aid is divided in two main sections:
• on setting up new investment projects
• on creating new work places.
In case of public aid for new investment projects, the entrepreneur is entitled to a refund in an amount of maximum 70% of investment outlays in the form of an income tax exemption until the whole aid is utilized (by 2020 at the very latest).
Investment outlays qualified for public aid are:
• expenditures on the land purchase
• expenditures on buildings and structures,
• expenditures on fixed assets (equipment),
• expenditures on purchase of intangible and legal assets necessary to obtain patents, operational licences or patented know-how licences.
In case of public aid for creating new work places the entrepreneur is entitled to a refund in an amount of maximum 70% of two-year labour costs of newly employed workers together with other obligatory payments in the form of income tax exemption until the whole aid is utilized (by 2020 at the very latest).
