Historic city hall - the headquarters of Regional Museum in Radomsko

Regional Museum in Radomsko, located in the historic city hall from 19th century, was founded in 1970. It has over 15 thousands exhibits divided into 4 sections: archaeological, historical, ethnographical and art section. The exhibits are presented in four permanent exhibitions. The most valuable exhibit of the Regional Museum is the collection "Polish kings and dukes" from the palace in Kruszyna, including 38 pieces.
The museum has a rich archive of historical exhibits and photographs, and a science library as well. It organises concerts, shows and museum auctions, and co-organises many cultural events. The museum invites youths for music lessons and lectures. It offers its own published catalogues, folders and postcards. The visitors can also see the rooms of historic city jail and visit the Museum Gallery, which was opened in 2003.

Permanent exhibitions:
- Radomsko region - the history - archaeological exhibition presenting the earliest days of inhabitants of Radomsko. The exhibits come from archaeological research conducted by the museum.
- The history of the city of Radomsko - historical exhibition presenting the history of Radomsko from year 1266 when it was given city rights till the 40's of the 20th century.
- Life in a countryside in Radomsko region at the turn of 19th and 20th century - ethnographic exhibition divided into following sections: housework, recreational activities, farming.
- Art works in the museum in Radomsko - the collection of paintings of Polish artists, furniture, craft works and products of Radomsko glass industry from the interwar years.

"Inhabitants of Radomsko in old photographs"

The exhibition consists of archival photographs of Radomsko inhabitants, given to the museum by their families, Friends and institutions in which they were employed. The exhibition contains portraits and photographs taken during performances, sacral ceremonies and family gatherings, as well as at work and on the streets. At the photographs one can see not only faces of well-known inhabitants of the city but also common people. They all contributed to the city today's looks and character.

In the gallery there will be presented exhibitions prepared in co-operation with E. Osterloff Photographic Association in Radomsko, Radomsko Collectors Club, Polish - Hungarian Friendship Association, Friends of the Museum Association, Cultural Initiatives Foundation, Partnership; Forum for Disabled; and also individual exhibitions by L. Paul from Berlin, S. Imieniński, J. Łapiński, K. Pawelec from Radomsko, S. Dubiel from Opole.
