Old Town Hall

Contemporary seat of the Municipal Office and City Council is the second in the history of Radomsko. The Old Town Hall was built in 1857 and in the Twenties of the 20th century it had been reconstructed and enlarged according to the design of local architect Włodzimierz Mucha. The building was a seat of the city authorities until 1975. At the time being the premises of the Old Town Hall are the place where Regional Museum resides.

St. Lamberts Parish Church

Previously where now St. Lambert�s Church is located, was a 11th-century wooden church and then due to the generosity of Queen Bona and King Sigismund I a beautifully decorated gothic church was bulit. The church was destroyed by the fire twice (in 17th and 18th century). In years 1869 - 1876 the new church arose according to the design of K. Wojciechowski.

The church is neo-baroque and has three towers. The beautiful stained-glass window over the main altar was made by countess Lubomirska from Kruszyna and it presents Annunciation. The church is decorated with five altars, including the most beautiful one designed in neo-renaissance style. It has gorgeous sculptures made by A. Pruszyński: human size sculpture of Jesus standing on the globe and blessing the world, sculpture of Virgin Mary, which stands in front of the church and statues of Peter and Paul the Apostles.

The church has many valuable sacral paintings; the most famous are paintings of St. Lambert by Ignacy Jasiński from 1873, painting presenting St. Valentine and two Dutch paintings: Jesus among children and The Crowning with Thorns. he church was built in 1869-1876.

Church and Franciscan Monastery

The Franciscan Monastery is one of the oldest monuments in Radomsko. It was founded probably in 13th century for Franciscans who had been brought here in 1288 by count Leszek the Black. The monastery was destroyed by several fires and wars and rebuilt many times. The todays shape of the monastery dates back to 18th century. The effect of many years of construction works is three-wing building with shingled roof. In 18th century the church was given the tower rising over the church and monastery buildings, visible even from the most distant parts of the city.


St. Roch Church

Located in Stobiecko Miejskie (the district of Radomsko) the wooden church was built at the very beginning of the 16th century. A gothic�renaissance-style triptych inside the church is a must-see. The central part of the triptych represents the Holy Family and the outside parts of side wings are ornamented with the scenes from the Passion of Christ. In 1952 the original shape of paintings was restored by removal of fragments repainted in 1615.


The Jewish Cemetery

The cemetery (kirkut) was founded in 1816; the oldest tombstone comes from 1831.
During the World War II (years 1940 - 1943) the cemetery was the place of many executions.
Salomon ha-Kohen Rabinovic - rabbi who set up Hasidic manor in Radomsko in 1843, was also buried in this cemetery.

St. Mary Magdalene Church

The historic wooden little church comes from 16th century. The painting of St. Mary Magdalene situated in the main altar and the wooden bell tower come from the 18th century.
